(first period) - LISTENING & SPEAKING -
1. Read the syllabus and pronounce the words correctly.
2. Read through unit ten and talk about sports and hobbies.
3. Play a speaking and listening game to encourage class discussion and wrote learning of unit ten content.
- Worksheet Part I -
1. Hamish announces a page from unit ten to the class.
2. The class turns to the page and studies the content from thirty seconds to one minute.
3. Hamish reads a question from today's worksheet.
4. Three students answer the question and then the rest of the class listens. Next, students choose either the correct or preferred answers. (We discuss answers offrered)
5. The whole class repeats the best answer and then we procede to the next question.
(second period) - READING & WRITING -
- Worksheet part II -
1. Read the questions on today's worksheet.
2. Turn to each question's page.
3. Study the page's content and then write the answer.
4. Each student must complete the worksheet, next they must find a friend to compare, discuss and explain their answers. Then, we have a class discussion and review the worksheet.
HOMEWORK
- Review the worksheet and check grammar, spelling and content. Tomorrow Hamish will collect the worksheets. Remember to bring your workbook to class tomorrow.
